Welcome toDutchess Pulmonary Associates
When people struggle with pulmonary issues, conditions that make it difficult to breathe, a general physician is not going to be enough. While great for regular checkups and minor health problems, a general physician may not have the knowledge of a specific medical field. In those cases, seeing a specialist is crucial for one’s health. At Dutchess Pulmonary Associates, we strive to provide the pulmonary specialist care that many people need. We treat a variety of pulmonary conditions from asthma to bronchitis and much more. As a lung cancer specialist, we can help identify symptoms and recommend options to begin the treatment process. You do not have to struggle with a health condition and never seek treatment. If you are in need of pulmonary specialist care, then we are the practice with the solution for you.
From the moment patients walk in the door to any follow-up appointments, we provide quality care and guidance throughout the treatment process. We understand that some conditions have a long treatment road to recovery and we are here to help. We strive to create a calm and comforting atmosphere to help the patient relax and receive treatment. Once we understand the patient’s condition, we can customize treatment to their needs. Our team will take the time to truly address the patient’s symptoms since there are many conditions that can have similar symptoms. In fact, some people will assume they merely have a recurring cough when they actually have something more serious.
We provide a variety of services within the medical field of pulmonology. Our services include asthma treatment, bronchitis treatment, COPD treatment, pneumonia treatment, advanced lung disorder treatment, snoring treatment, cough treatment and allergy testing. We also treat obstructive sleep apnea and sleep disorders with snoring treatments, home sleep apnea testing, CPAP breathing machines, sleep medicine and obesity management. We can also help to treat cystic fibrosis, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary fibrosis and more. As a lung cancer specialist, we can conduct the necessary tests to accurately determine if the patient has a form of lung cancer. Similar to dealing with any of these conditions, patients may need different types of treatment.
To begin the treatment process, we will need the patient to fill out a “New Patient Information Form” that covers the patient’s current condition, medical history, allergies, insurance and any other pertinent information we need to know. Once we gather this information, we will determine the cause of the patient’s pain and recommend treatment. We will also customize the treatment to the individual needs of the patient. Throughout the treatment process, we will communicate with the patient on each step and answer any questions the patient has. We will also offer guidance to the patient during the recovery phase after the initial treatment. Our professional care can help you receive the treatment you need.
